Course Description

1. To understand the fundamentals, architecture, and services of operating systems.
2. To study process management, process synchronization, deadlock handling, and multithreading concepts.
3. To understand memory management and virtual memory techniques.
4. To study storage management, file systems, and protection mechanisms.
5. To explore modern operating system technologies, including virtualization, cloud computing, and distributed file systems through case studies.
